The Burton Water Cooperative provides drinking water to approximately 415 connections in and around the town of Burton, Vashon Island, Washington.
After three years of dedicated effort, the Board of Directors is proud to announce the successful acquisition of the assets of the Burton Water Company. The Burton Water Cooperative now owns the Burton Water System. This transition, spearheaded by a committed Board of Directors and numerous community members, ensures that local control of the water supply remains firmly in the hands of the community.
