Installation of new 8-inch main line pipe continued this week, with 1254 feet of pipe being installed West-to-East along SW 238th Street. Next week, the crew will continue installing pipe along SW 238th Street; the crew expects to reach 107th Avenue SW sometime next week. Construction commenced this week, including installation of 500 feet of new 8-inch mainline pipe at the South end of 115th Avenue SW and the West end of SW 238th Street. Construction Schedule On-site construction begins the week of Monday, August 17. The first day(s) are likely to be mobilization and setup only, with material and equipment arriving by ferry; though excavation may follow quickly. The first work will be the water main along SW 238th St from 115th Ave SW east to 107th Ave SW. Work will generally be Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
