Burton Water Co-Op Employees Dig Late

At 11:43pm Saturday September 5th, the Burton Water Co-op Duty Phone  started ringing! Co-op members on the North end of 107th Ave. SW were experiencing a lack of water pressure or no water at all.
Upon investigation, it was determined that this was the result of a larger than usual leak from the main water service line that runs along 107th.
This area of pipe is part of the FDA funded Capital Improvement Projects, and is scheduled to be replaced in a matter of weeks, but Operator on Duty, Morgan Berry, determined that the scale of this leak, and impact on members water service, called for immediate response.
By 4am Sep 6th water was restored to members, and later that day the repair was completed, and the dig site restored.
The Burton Water Co-op Duty Phone is answered 24/7; it is there to provide our member’s with outstanding service: 206 775 5667
